Refund policy

At LippanEdge, every creation is handcrafted with dedication, artistic detailing, and personalized attention. Since many of our products are handmade and custom-prepared specifically for individual customers, our return and refund guidelines are designed to maintain fairness, transparency, and product integrity for both parties.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. NATURE OF PRODUCTS SOLD

LippanEdge primarily deals in:

  • Handmade Lippan Art Wall Decor
  • Wedding Hath Thapa
  • Personalized Nameplates
  • Traditional Gujarati Decorative Pieces
  • Custom-Made Home & Festive Decor

As these products involve manual craftsmanship and, in many cases, customer-specific customization, each item is specially produced upon order confirmation.

For this reason, standard return practices applicable to mass-produced goods do not apply in the same way.


2. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE CUSTOM ORDERS

Orders that include any form of personalization, made-to-order preparation, or custom design instructions are considered final sale orders.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • custom names,
  • wedding details,
  • personalized photos,
  • selected dimensions,
  • color modifications,
  • specific decorative requests.

Once:

  • the design process begins,
  • raw material preparation starts, or
  • artisan production is initiated,

such orders cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances.

This policy exists because customized handmade products are created exclusively for one customer and cannot be resold.


3. LIMITED RETURN / REPLACEMENT ELIGIBILITY

We only entertain return, replacement, or refund requests under exceptional and verified cases such as:

Eligible Verified Cases

  • Incorrect item delivered
  • Parcel received with major transit damage
  • Missing product in package
  • Serious manufacturing defect affecting usability

For any such claim, the customer must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
And send product unboxing video, otherwise not accepted return product.Β 

Mandatory proof submission includes:

  • full parcel opening/unboxing video,
  • clear photos of product,
  • packaging label image,
  • order invoice or order ID.

Claims submitted without unboxing video evidence may not qualify for approval.


4. CASES WHERE RETURN / REFUND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

To avoid confusion, LippanEdge does not provide refund, exchange, or return in the following circumstances:

  • customer changes mind after order placement,
  • delay caused by third-party courier services,
  • handmade texture/finish variations,
  • minor mirror placement or handcrafted irregularities,
  • slight color tone difference due to mobile/monitor display,
  • customer entered incorrect address or phone number,
  • delivery refused or unavailable customer,
  • dissatisfaction based on subjective personal preference.

Please note: handmade art is intentionally unique, and slight variation is part of authentic handcrafted beauty rather than defect.


5. ORDER CANCELLATION TERMS

Ready-to-Dispatch Products

Cancellation requests may be considered only before dispatch confirmation.

Customized / Handmade Production Orders

Once artisan work, design preparation, or material sourcing has started, cancellation is strictly not possible.

If any cancellation is exceptionally approved before production starts, payment gateway deduction, admin handling charges, and transaction fees may be withheld from the refundable amount.


6. REFUND DECISION & BRAND DISCRETION

After verification of submitted proofs, LippanEdge reserves the full right to determine the most suitable resolution, including:

  • replacement of product,
  • partial refund,
  • store credit,
  • repair support,
  • or rejection of invalid claims.

Approval of refund is not automatic and depends entirely on issue authenticity.

The final decision shall remain solely with LippanEdge management.


7. REFUND TIMELINE (IF APPROVED)

Where a refund is approved after internal verification, the amount shall be processed within 7–10 business days through:

  • original online payment method, or
  • direct bank transfer.

Shipping charges, COD handling charges, and payment gateway charges are non-refundable.


8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY BEFORE ORDERING

Customers are advised to carefully verify:

  • product size,
  • customization spellings,
  • names/photos submitted,
  • address details,
  • contact number,

before placing an order.

LippanEdge shall not be liable for losses caused due to incorrect information shared by customer.
